FAQ

## Common questions

What is a bike support (SAG) vehicle?

A SAG (Support and Gear) vehicle follows a cycling race, round-island tour, or travel itinerary the whole way, carrying the riders or travelers themselves along with their bikes, luggage, and gear, and providing shuttle, resupply, and backup logistics as needed. 24EZGO runs a fleet of 4 support vehicles covering the main island of Taiwan and its four major airports, so riders can focus on cycling instead of hauling their own gear — whenever you’re tired, the weather turns, or you need an unplanned lift, there’s always a vehicle ready to help. This is the same support model behind all three of our service lines: airport bike transfer, island cycling tour transfer, and race SAG support, so the exact role of the vehicle shifts a little depending on which one of the three you end up booking.

How is pricing calculated?

Pricing is quoted one-on-one for each request — there’s no fixed price list and no hidden fees. We estimate based on the service type (airport transfer, island tour transfer, or race SAG support), your origin and destination and route distance, the number of people, bikes, and luggage, whether it’s one-way or round trip, and the number of service days; vehicle type and count are adjusted to match your group and gear. Fill in the inquiry form on our site or message our LINE Official Account (@24ezgo) with your trip details, and we’ll reply with a quote and a workable plan as soon as we possibly can. This keeps every quote transparent and matched to your actual trip, rather than a one-size-fits-all rate, so you can see exactly which factors are driving the total before you commit to a date.

Which areas do you cover?

24EZGO covers the main island of Taiwan, connecting the four major airports — Taoyuan (TPE), Taipei Songshan (TSA), Taichung (RMQ), and Kaohsiung (KHH) — and also supports round-island routes and race meeting points nationwide; outlying islands are quoted separately. Whether it’s a single-day transfer, a multi-day round-island trip, or full-route support on race day, just tell us your origin, destination, and the number of days in the inquiry form or on LINE, and we’ll confirm whether we can support it and arrange the right vehicle. This flexible, request-based coverage lets us support everything from a single arrival transfer to a multi-day itinerary spanning several counties, since every trip is planned around your actual route rather than a fixed service zone. You can also ask about combining legs, such as an airport pickup that continues into a multi-day tour, within the same inquiry.

How many bikes can be transported?

24EZGO runs a fleet of 4 support vehicles, and each one can carry up to 8 riders and 8 bikes per trip — enough for a small team or a group riding together. For larger groups or more bikes, we can dispatch multiple vehicles to run in parallel, and bike boxes, bike bags, and large luggage can all be carried along with the bikes. The exact number we can fit still depends on rider count, bike size, and luggage volume, so tell us your bike count and luggage when you inquire, and we’ll reply with the vehicle type and number of vehicles we can arrange. This flexible fleet setup means a solo cyclist and a larger group can both be accommodated without switching providers — we simply scale the number of vehicles to match your trip.

How do you arrange support when a large group or multiple parties travel together?

Yes, we can. 24EZGO runs a fleet of 4 support vehicles, each carrying up to 8 riders and 8 bikes per trip. For a large group, multiple parties departing together, or a round-island trip that needs relay support along the route, we can dispatch several vehicles in parallel based on headcount and route, coordinating timing and meeting points between them — so nobody has to squeeze into one vehicle or make separate trips. Whether it’s an airport transfer, island tour, or race SAG support, just tell us your total headcount, bike count, and itinerary, and we’ll reply with a workable vehicle arrangement. This is especially useful for club trips or group tours where riders arrive on different flights but need to start riding together the same morning.

How do I book the support vehicle?

Fill in the “Online Inquiry” form on this site with your date, party size, number of bikes and bags, and your pickup/drop-off points or route, then submit — this automatically opens our LINE Official Account (@24ezgo) with your details pre-filled; just tap send to complete the inquiry and add us as a friend. Our team replies during business hours to confirm feasibility and provide a custom quote. If LINE isn’t convenient, you can also reach us by phone, WhatsApp, or WeChat. An online booking link will be added to the site once that system launches. Availability tightens during race season, so it helps to inquire early. If your dates are still flexible, mentioning that upfront also helps us find a vehicle for your whole group.

Can you pick up my bike from Taoyuan or Taipei Songshan airport?

Yes. 24EZGO offers bike transfers from all four major airports — Taoyuan (TPE), Taipei Songshan (TSA), Taichung (RMQ), and Kaohsiung (KHH) — taking you, your bike, bike case, and luggage straight to your hotel or tour start point, so you skip disassembling, transferring, or making multiple trips yourself. Share your flight time, party size, and bike count when you inquire, and we’ll arrange a vehicle sized for your group and gear; our fleet of 4 support vehicles can be dispatched as needed to cover your arrival. This service is popular with cyclists who don’t want to reassemble a bike at the airport or navigate public transit with a bike box in tow, especially after a long flight. It also works well for groups landing on separate flights, since we can time multiple pickups around each arrival.

Do you provide SAG support for around-Taiwan tours or races like KOM?

Yes. 24EZGO has 7 years of cycling race logistics experience, supporting 10–20 events a year — from KOM hill climbs and criteriums to races as long as 197 km — plus Ironman and Penghu island events, serving over 3,000 riders and travelers. For round-island and multi-day tours, we ride along daily on routes based on Cycling Route No. 1, about 960 km in total, handling shuttle service and luggage transport; on race day, our support vehicle follows the whole route, carrying riders, bikes, and gear. Tell us the route, event name, and number of days, and we’ll arrange it around the rest of your trip in Taiwan. That combination of race-day and multi-day tour experience means the same crew can also plan a longer trip around it, so you don’t have to coordinate two separate bookings.

What experience does 24EZGO have with cycling race logistics?

24EZGO has been operated since 2020 by seh STUDIO Co., Ltd. in Taichung, with 7 years of cycling race logistics experience, supporting 10–20 events a year and serving over 3,000 riders and travelers. The events we’ve supported range from KOM hill climbs and criteriums to races as long as 197 km, along with Ironman triathlons and events on Penghu island. That long track record of carrying riders, bikes, and gear — and handling last-minute changes on race day — is also the logistics foundation behind our round-island and airport transfer services. Beyond the numbers, that history means our team already knows how Taiwan’s race routes, checkpoints, and weather patterns behave, which shapes how we plan support for tours and transfers, rather than treating every request as a brand-new first-time guess from scratch each time.

Why choose 24EZGO instead of a regular charter car or taxi?

A regular charter car or taxi usually isn’t set up to load and secure bikes properly, and often can’t fit bike boxes or bike bags at all. 24EZGO comes from a cycling race logistics background, with 7 years of experience supporting 10–20 events a year, so we know how to secure bikes, plan for space, and understand what riders actually need along the way. Our fleet of 4 support vehicles carries up to 8 riders and 8 bikes per trip, and covers airport transfer, island tour transfer, and race SAG support — so we can flex around your itinerary instead of just providing a ride. In practice that means bikes are secured by someone who does it every race weekend, loading at the curb goes faster, and the driver already knows what a rider needs — details that add up over a multi-day trip.

Can you carry bike boxes, luggage, and gear?

Yes. Besides the bikes themselves, we carry bike boxes, bike bags, suitcases, and race gear such as helmets, nutrition, and repair tools — no need to ship them separately or leave them with someone else. Our fleet of 4 support vehicles is matched to your group, bike count, and luggage volume so there’s enough space, and when the group or gear is larger, we can dispatch multiple vehicles to run together. Tell us the size and quantity of any large items when you inquire, and we’ll confirm the space and arrangement we can support. Keeping everything in one vehicle also means less handling at each stop, which matters for fragile items like race wheels or bike computers. We secure gear for the drive, and you’re welcome to tell us which items need extra care.
